Final Journal Presentation

Journal Presentation - Tuesday, August 14
You will present your journal to small groups of your classmates and turn in a written summary  of your answers.
1.       Choose ONE that you like the most and answer the following questions.
a.       Why do you like these?
b.      What did you learn?
c.       What, if anything, did you revise or change?  Why?
2.        Choose ONE that you thought was difficult and answer the following questions.
a.       Why was this one difficult?
b.      What would you like to do differently?
3.       Summarize by discussing your effort, organization, thoughtfulness  and the appearance of your journal.

End of Quarter Schedule

WOW!!  It's already August!  I can't believe it's time for the final countdown... Here it is - what we'll be doing for the rest of the quarter.

Aug 6 -9:  Reaction Essay, Unit 6; Sentence Variety; Sentence Combining Review
Aug 9:  1st and only reaction essay WITH illustration due.
Aug 13: 
  • Final in-class essay exam
  • Turn in rewrites of Week 6 in-class essay (compare / contrast)
Aug 14: 
  • Final journal presentation in small groups
  • Final grammar (sentence combining) test
Aug 15:  Get grades and papers returned / individual appointments

and then.... Have a great break!!!
